"With over 25 years of product design experience, I specialize in translating complex mechanical challenges into elegant, market-ready physical hardware. Originally from Toronto, Canada, my career spans heavy-duty tools, precision photographic optics, complex ergonomic safety equipment, and wearable health tech—always bridging the gap between artistic form and high-volume manufacturing.
Recent Selected Experience:
Maroon Vault, Orange County 2017 - 2025 Contract Industrial design for NPD (new product development) and DFM (design for manufacturing), including The Evie Health Ring and Charger for Movano Health.
Moldex, Culver City 2019-2025 On-site and contract mechanical design for NDP and DFM such as the 7901 Reusable Half Mask and the in-development PAPR helmet and blower system (Powered Air-Purifying Respirator); and design support for existing products.
Pelican, Torrance 2017- Current On-Site and Contract mechanical design and PDM support for new and existing products for various cases and flashlights.
T2 Design, Santa Monica - 2020 - Current Contract industrial design for NDP on a variety of inventive projects including a reimagined eye dropper, coffee machine, exercise weights.
Olloclip, Huntington Beach 2012 - 2016 On-site design engineer for NDP for a large variety of iPhone and Samsung photography lens accessories.
Toughbuilt, Burbank 2009 - 2012 On-site mechanical design for NDP and DFM on products such as bolt cutters, saw horses, a power drill, tape measures and knee pads.
